Looking for a Used Aston Martin for sale in the UK? There are not many of these highly desirable models available yet on the market for obvious reasons, however, there are more cars being offered for sale weekly and the buyer of a used Aston Martin DB11 is starting to have some choice.
Starting price or list price of the Aston Martin DN11 is currently £147,900 - £174,995 and comes with a V8 or super smooth V12 engine. Launched in 2016 with a new 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine and joining this a year later was the AMG sourced 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, both driving the rear wheels via an 8-speed paddle-shift auto gearbox. The styling develops on the previous Aston Martin DB9 but with a cleaner and sharper look than before. It is an interesting place where Aston has pitched the new DB11. Certainly not as sharp as some of its rivals such as the Audi R8 and McLaren 570s, partly due to the heavy front-engine layout, but it is inherently more sporty in nature than comparable Bentleys and Mercedes. An early upgrade to the V12 DB11 were the suspension upgrades in 2018 to give an even more sporty feel. However, the DB11 was never intended to be an all-out racer, more a continental cruise missile.
The Aston Martin is at its best when the driver is relaxed and cruising at speed, watching the miles disappear. If you are looking for something a little crazier then take a look at the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, based on the DB11 but manufactured with a different buyer in mind.
Driving an Aston Martin DB11
The early DB11's were much more of a softly sprung continent cruiser built with comfort levels in mind. Aston DB11's after 2018 had the suspension upgrades in place as standard and were certainly more sure-footed and easier to place in corners when driving spiritedly. Being 115kg lighter than the V12, the V8 engined Aston Martin DB11 is without a doubt the more sporty of the two available models. The V8 gives away 100bhp to its bigger brother and the top speed is 21mph lower, but somehow the V8 feels faster and is the more engaging to drive fast. Suspension settings can be changed between GT, S and S+ and flicking between these modes will give an instant feel to the handling characteristics.
Used Aston Martin DB11 For Sale - How Are They Shaping Up?
The Aston Martin DB11 was initially very well received for its stunning looks and styling. The used Aston Martin DB11 is a highly desirable car and is the first Aston in over 10 years that is 'all-new'. Choosing the V8 or V12 is a nice problem to have. Slightly more relaxed cruiser in the V12 or go for the sportier and more raucous V8? Aston Martin says sales new are split down the middle between the engines.
